Challenges

Not talking wasn't that bad. If someone asked me a question and i didn't respond, they immediately knew I was in APLang and i had no further explaining to do. The biggest challenge I faced was Spanish class. Only two members of the class were able to speak and, being an interactive class, we did not accomplish much. I think not talking for a day was much easier than the 24 hour media fast.

  1. I like how you forgot to capitalize the "i" in the beginning of the first sentence. Also, I thought by mentioning that Spanish was an interactive class it made it easier for me to understand why you had such a difficult time communicating by illustrations.

  2. Like Taylor, I really enjoyed the capital "i" in the first sentence. It captures your failure to pay attention when sweet old Mrs. Ritz taught all of us the fundamentals of forming a proper sentence. Naturally, I paid close attention, but then again did I really have a choice? All of the kids were intimidated by my good looks, so instead of a social life, I stuck to my books. Anyways, I think it's interesting that you didn't think it was that bad, because everyone else seemed to think it was really tough. Also, your post is short and sweet, with an applicable example to aid the argument that the medium really is the message.

  3. I am glad that yourday was so fantastic. For others however the no speaking test was hard for myself. I like how you didnt capitolize one of your i's in the comment. I also liked how you just let the experience sound like no big deal. My name is Josh and I can not talk for a day, so what = tone.
